Nancy was certainly the best rower, male or female, during my years on the Williams Crew
Nancy was one terrific rower. When she came on the team, we had to learn to row with as much strength as she had or the boat went the way she pulled. She had a lovely sense of humour and a great laugh. It was good to hear that continued rowing and gave so much to the sport and the U.S. Olympic team.
