  1. Brad was one of my closest high school and town friends (Springfield, VT) growing up and my room mate at Williams as a freshman — Morgan East, as John R (Spike) Pike says. He truly was one of the nicest guys, not a mean bone in his body, always seeing the best in people and loved to laugh. As Brad got sicker and sicker (from Covid), eventually landing himself in the ICU, even then he retained a sense of humor and perspective toward life that was remarkable. We need more Brads. I miss you, my friend.

  2. Brad and I were both graduate students in the Food Science department at the University of Florida studying microbiology in the 1980s. Brad was a few years ahead of me but was always willing to provide helpful advice and found time to answer my litany questions. I later came to learn his approachable personality was rare in most other university research lab settings. Also notable, was his depth of knowledge and understanding of issues and problems that could be resolved using sound scientific principles. I directly attribute this to his lessons learned from the rigorous coursework in Chemistry at Williams; ergo, I posted my message here on this website. Naturally, Brad had a positive impact on my own career as a Ph. D. scientist. RIP Brad, I will always be grateful for your help, advice, and guidance.

  3. I remember driving from Bennington to the Williams premedical program, the summer before our freshman year (1977), and finding Brad and Preddis Sullivan throwing the football together. I joined in and and realized that Brad was an extremely friendly and accepting person. We remained good friends throughout our biochemistry major.

  4. Krohner was simply the nicest guy at Morgan East our freshman year. I had always hoped to get back in touch with him. RIP Krohner! from Sandy Pike
